Why are my pens longer – and why it matters
This is something you can’t tell from a photo.
But you’ll feel it instantly in your hand.
Most wooden pens and ballpoint pens on the market are unnecessarily short. I addressed this right from the beginning.
A problem nobody talks about
Most wooden pens are made from ready-made components with fixed dimensions. Manufacturers simply use them as they come.
The result? A product that looks great in photos but feels smaller than expected in your hand.

I didn’t want that
From the beginning, I knew a pen should feel right in your hand – not just look good.
So I chose a more demanding path:
- custom extended brass tubes designed to my specifications
- fine-tuning metal component parameters for a proper grip
- adjusting shapes of selected components
- higher-quality and more durable surface finishes
- modifying the production process in my workshop
- adapting tools to work with different material thickness
I’m not limited by standard off-the-shelf components – everything is designed to make sense in real use.
This gives me full control over details that cannot be influenced with standard components.
Details make the difference
I carefully control every detail – from construction to final finish. It’s not just about looks, but about ensuring the pen works reliably and lasts for everyday use.
The same approach applies to both fountain pens and ballpoint pens – all feature an adjusted length for a natural grip – compare dimensions here ↓
This is not an off-the-shelf product.
It’s a solution I designed and refined from the ground up.

Limited editions are a different league
Alongside the standard range, I also create limited editions that are made in a completely different way.
These are not just modified components – each piece is designed from scratch as a unique item.
I use exceptional materials, develop individual constructions, and refine every detail without compromise.
The result is not just a writing tool, but a collector’s piece.

Actual pen dimensions

This is something most manufacturers don’t show.
What you see here is the real size – exactly how the pen feels in use.
