This handmade luxury wooden pen made from Macassar ebony is among the most luxurious and representative pieces in my collection. Macassar ebony is highly valued for its striking contrast, where dark to almost black areas blend with lighter brown stripes. As a result, each pen has a unique and exceptionally elegant appearance.

Origin of Macassar ebony

Macassar ebony comes from Indonesia, specifically from the island of Sulawesi. The wood is exceptionally dense, heavy, and hard, making it an ideal material for luxury writing instruments. Thanks to its high density, the pen feels solid and valuable in the hand.

Handmade in my workshop

Each pen is handmade by me in my workshop in the Czech Republic. Working with ebony requires maximum precision and experience, which is why only carefully crafted pieces are created. The surface finish is designed to highlight the natural grain and deep contrast of the wood.

Fountain pens from my workshop are designed to offer a traditional writing experience combined with maximum comfort and freedom of filling options. Each pen is compatible with standard ink cartridges as well as a converter.

With every fountain pen, I include one ink cartridge, so you can start writing immediately after unpacking, without any additional purchases. Cartridges are practical and easy to replace.

For those who prefer bottled ink, I offer a converter as a separate accessory. The converter allows the use of a wide range of inks in different colors and properties, opening space for creativity and a personal writing style.
