Zungusha Edition 2022 is a limited edition of luxury writing instruments that combines traditional craftsmanship, distinctive materials and timeless design.
Zungusha Edition 2022 was created as an author’s limited edition of handcrafted pens for customers seeking an exceptional Damascus steel pen with a distinctive character and high aesthetic and functional value. Each piece is personally crafted by me in my workshop in the Czech Republic and produced in a limited number of pieces.
The dominant element of this edition is Damascus steel, known for its strength, durability and especially for its unique pattern created by repeatedly layering different types of steel. This pattern ensures that every Damascus pen in the Zungusha series is a true original.
In this edition the Damascus steel is complemented by olive wood with a history of up to 700 years, bringing warmth, natural texture and visual balance to the overall design. Olive trees grow extremely slowly, which gives the wood high density, distinctive grain and exceptional durability.
The wood used in the Zungusha edition was personally selected and brought by me from the Greek island of Karpathos. Each piece was carefully chosen with respect to its grain, structure and overall character. This personal selection and origin of the wood give the edition its authentic story and exceptional value.
